Fresh Artists is an innovative nonprofit empowering young lives through art and philanthropy. 

 

We create opportunities for children to make a difference in the world by becoming full partners in philanthropy, exhibiting their artwork in highly visible and unexpected places, and providing art supplies and innovative art programs to severely underfunded public schools across the United States.

• Printing is in our DNA: we digitally reproduce artwork donated by K-12 kids, creating wide format prints for installation.

Fresh Artists wouldn't exist without the print industry. Since our founding in 2008, we've witnessed firsthand how printing provides the perfect vehicle to amplify children's voices by sending their art out into the world to make a positive change. 

 

• Printing empowers under-resourced children through Purpose, Planning, Production, and Pride.

 Fresh Artists Design Labs and Design Camps invite talented kids to work with professional designers in workshops that involve an introduction to printing processes, creative problem solving through technology, and the use of state-of-the-art digital printing equipment. Participating kids have developed a range of products, from puzzles, to sticker sheets, to a line of children's bedding for Land of Nod/Crate&Barrel, to the surface repeat pattern of the canvas totes for the building toy "Stick-Lets."

We are excited to launch Kids Who Print, a natural outgrowth of both our Camps and Labs and an extension of "Cool Jobs"–our signature program introducing kids in grades 4–10 to sustainable, meaningful careers in the creative economy–with a heavy emphasis on printing!

 

Kids Who Print will be the vehicle for us to introduce middle and high schoolers to printing techniques that can amplify their art, provide paid summer internships for older teens, and run annual print-focused workshops in our studios.
